Settlement Attorney

Superior Executive Legal Recruiting is seeking a Settlement Attorney to join its Los Angeles-based plaintiff-side employment law firm. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, focusing on negotiating resolutions and managing case pipelines.

The Settlement Attorney will lead negotiations with opposing counsel, insurers, and other parties, evaluate cases for settlement value, and develop effective negotiation strategies. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and revising settlement agreements and related documents, collaborating with attorneys and support staff to efficiently move cases toward resolution, maintaining organized case tracking, and ensuring timely follow-up on all settlement-related matters. Effective communication with clients regarding settlement options and outcomes is also essential.

Candidates must hold an active license to practice law in California and possess strong organizational and time-management skills to manage a high-volume caseload. Experience with contract drafting and negotiation is required, with prior settlement negotiation experience strongly preferred. While employment law experience and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish are advantageous, they are not mandatory. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting are essential.
