SMB Sales Account Executive
Block is seeking a team-oriented SMB Sales Account Executive to join our UK team. In this position, you'll manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, introducing Square's value to UK SMB merchants. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful onboarding for your customers and build a deep understanding of your sales pipeline to achieve and exceed targets. A consultative approach to sales and strong customer intuition are essential.
Ideal candidates will have 1-4 years of experience in a qualifying or prospecting role, a BA/BS degree or relevant experience, and a track record of exceeding sales targets. Experience or interest in assisting SMB sellers, understanding value-selling, and the ability to assess business opportunities are key. Strong collaboration and communication skills, along with the ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced environment, are essential.
