Social Manager
The Social Manager at WPP Media plays a pivotal role within the INFLUENCE team, bridging high-level strategic vision with day-to-day execution excellence. Key responsibilities include leading and developing Social Executives to foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture. The Social Manager acts as the primary day-to-day contact for senior clients, ensuring satisfaction through exceptional output and strategic alignment. Additionally, the role involves supporting the Director in identifying upsell opportunities and maintaining high team resource efficiency. Ensuring "gold-standard" delivery of content calendars, reporting, and social-first production is also a critical aspect of the position.
The ideal candidate possesses 4–6 years of experience in social media or social content production, preferably within an agency environment. Proven experience in managing or mentoring junior team members is essential. A strong track record of managing client relationships and presenting strategic recommendations is required. Expertise in social management and listening tools, such as Sprout, Sprinklr, Meltwater, or Brandwatch, is necessary. A deep understanding of platform-native features on TikTok, Instagram, and Reels, and how to leverage them for brands, is also important.
