Social Media Lead (CEX)
Hyphen Connect is seeking a Social Media Lead to spearhead the global social media strategy for a top-tier digital asset exchange serving millions of users worldwide. This role is pivotal in driving content innovation and managing growth across multiple platforms, ensuring the company's strong market presence and rapid global expansion.
The Social Media Lead will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy, including platform positioning and content pillars. Key duties involve managing a multi-platform social media matrix encompassing X/Twitter, Telegram, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and regional platforms. The role also includes driving creative content ideation, planning and executing content around market cycles, launches, events, and trending narratives, and establishing clear content governance, workflows, and performance metrics. Collaboration with regional teams to ensure global consistency with local relevance is essential, as is monitoring trends, memes, sentiment, and competitor activity in real time. The Social Media Lead will also manage external agencies, creators, or internal editors where applicable, balancing brand safety, compliance awareness, and growth velocity.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading social media strategy at scale, with a strong focus on strategic communication and narrative management. Deep familiarity with the Web3/crypto/exchange industry rhythms, user narratives, and market cycles is essential. Strong leadership and executive communication skills are required, along with exceptional English writing and editing skills capable of drafting sophisticated content for C-suite executives. A consistent professional track record, with a minimum of 2–3 years spent at each previous organization, is preferred. Strong strategic instincts, with the ability to "make things happen" while maintaining a professional and authoritative brand voice, are also important.
