WHAT TO EXPECT

We‘re solving one of the most interesting problems in AI today: building reliable, deterministic execution on top of non-deterministic AI models.

As a backend engineer, you’ll work directly on our AI orchestration systems to enable reliable, scalable, durable workflow execution across desktop and web. You’ll collaborate with our frontend team to surface that to the user in a way that is easy and intuitive.

This is an opportunity to join a small, tight-knit team at our HQ in NYC. We believe the best work happens in person, especially at the early stage, and you’ll have the opportunity to learn from the founding team and early engineers to help shape the future of the company.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Own systems that automate repetitive work across browser and desktop, handling concurrency, reliability, and observability at scale (millions of executions per month)

- Collaborate with our CTO and ML research partners to bring state-of-the-art agentic workflows into production

- Architect and build the backend systems that power our visual workflow builder – a Figma-style interface used daily by non-technical ops teams

- Design and implement services that integrate with Sola AI models to generate workflows, gain insights, and drive adaptive execution logic
