Software Engineer (Go) - Courier Group

As a Software Engineer (Go) in Wolt's Courier Group, you will be instrumental in developing scalable and reliable backend services that power our logistics platform. Wolt, a technology company operating in over 500 cities across 30 countries, is dedicated to enhancing customer experiences and optimizing courier partnerships. This role offers the opportunity to work within one of our 11 specialized teams focused on shaping the future of delivery services.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing, building, and integrating high-quality microservices at scale within a complex domain. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and evolve systems primarily using Go, while also engaging with other technologies such as Scala and Python. Additionally, you will be expected to stay up-to-date with modern backend ecosystems and contribute to fostering best practices and continuous learning within our engineering community.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in designing, building, and integrating quality software (microservices) at scale. Strong technical leadership skills are essential, along with experience in cloud platforms (AWS or similar), container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), observability tools (such as DataDog), and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL). Excellent stakeholder management skills, a pragmatic problem-solving approach, and a growth mindset are also key attributes for success in this role.
