Software Engineer Intern

OPSWAT is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join our Technology Development Centre in Veszprém, Hungary. As a global leader in IT, OT, and ICS critical infrastructure cybersecurity, OPSWAT provides end-to-end platforms that protect complex networks, secure devices, and ensure compliance. This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of advanced cybersecurity products that safeguard critical infrastructure worldwide.

In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, security experts, and researchers to design and build backend services for our secure file transfer platform. Your responsibilities will include developing responsive and interactive user interfaces using C++, writing clean and maintainable code, and actively participating in Agile development processes such as sprint planning and stand-up meetings. Additionally, you will assist with data collection, preprocessing, and basic feature engineering for machine learning applications.

The ideal candidate is currently pursuing IT-related university studies at the University of Pannonia in Veszprém. Practical application of IT skills learned at university, basic programming knowledge, and good communication skills in English are essential. The ability to work 20-30 hours per week after university practice, along with strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, and flexibility, are also required.
