Software Engineer, Product (Full-Stack)
Lawtrades is seeking a Software Engineer, Product (Full-Stack) to join their New York City team. As a pivotal member of this small, product-focused group, you will bridge research, product, and real-world application, transforming ambiguous problems into reliable, auditable workflows. In this role, you will be responsible for developing end-to-end solutions, from the user interface to data management and APIs. Your daily tasks will include designing scalable web UIs, building AI-infused product flows, and ensuring system reliability through instrumentation and testing. Collaboration with design, operations, and marketplace teams is essential to deliver impactful outcomes. Engaging directly with customers and conducting experiments will help refine workflows for speed and trustworthiness.
Candidates should have over five years of experience in full-stack web development, with expertise in modern front-end frameworks like Vue or React, and proficiency in Node.js and SQL. A strong product sense, attention to user experience, and a commitment to clean architecture and operational excellence are crucial. The ability to communicate clearly, thrive in ambiguity, and work independently is highly valued.
The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $180,000 to $230,000, complemented by equity options.
