Software QA Specialist
OpenEye, a subsidiary of is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our innovative QA team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers in an Agile environment to test and validate our cloud-managed video and AI analytics solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability, security, and performance of products that protect people, secure property, and enhance business operations worldwide.
As a Software QA Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include executing manual and automated tests for new features, bug fixes, and updates. You will support regression testing to ensure existing features function correctly after changes, maintain and update test cases under the guidance of senior QA team members, and participate in Agile sprints, including planning and daily stand-ups. Additionally, you will log, track, and retest issues in the bug tracking system, document test results, and communicate findings to the development team.
The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of software QA or related experience. Familiarity with web applications and relevant terminology is essential, along with a passion for technology and a desire to grow within the QA team. Compensation for this role ranges from $19.00 to $24.00 per hour, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Employees are also eligible to purchase company stock at a discounted rate.
