Solicitor Apprenticeships

Mishcon de Reya offers a six-year Solicitor Apprenticeship programme, combining practical legal experience with academic study. Based in London, apprentices work across six departments—Corporate, Real Estate, Litigation, Innovation, Employment, and Private—gaining exposure to diverse legal practices. The programme culminates in a law degree and qualification as a solicitor.

Apprentices engage in annual rotations during the first four years, followed by two years of graduate solicitor intake with six-month rotations. They spend four days per week working on real cases and one day studying with The University of Law. This structure ensures comprehensive training and development.

Candidates should have completed their A-Levels or equivalent by July 2025, with a preference for 3 A-Levels at grade BBB and 6 GCSEs at grade A*-C or equivalent. However, the firm values a strong overall application and considers applicants with diverse backgrounds. Legal work experience is not a requirement.

The apprenticeship offers a starting salary of £28,000, with increases as apprentices progress. Tuition fees are fully covered, and apprentices receive benefits such as private medical care, income protection, and a £1,500 relocation bonus to assist with moving expenses.
