Solution Engineer
The Solution Engineer at Precisely International plays a pivotal role in supporting the Sales Engineering organization by delivering high-quality technical assistance. This position focuses on maintaining and preparing technical assets and environments to ensure they are ready for use, thereby facilitating the efficient advancement and closure of sales opportunities. The role involves close collaboration with Solution Architects and Sales Engineers to develop innovative solutions that align with the company's commitment to data integrity.
Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining reusable product demonstrations, environments, solutions, and technical assets. The Solution Engineer is expected to effectively communicate the value and advantages of these solutions in both technical and business contexts. Additionally, providing high-quality technical support to the Sales and Sales Engineering teams as required is a critical aspect of the role.
Candidates should have experience supporting geographically distributed Sales Engineering teams and proficiency in creating custom demos, proofs of concept, and technical environments. A minimum of two years of experience in customer-facing technical roles is required. Familiarity with large language models (e.g., Claude, GPT, Gemini), programming experience in any language, and knowledge of hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Linux/Windows systems are also essential. Experience with data-management cloud applications such as Databricks or Snowflake, as well as data-intensive applications like Matillion, Informatica, or Talend, is highly desirable. A strong understanding of data disciplines, including governance, quality, master data management, and observability, is beneficial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to translate technical concepts into customer-friendly language. A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technology discipline is preferred, though candidates with other degrees will be considered if they demonstrate sufficient technical proficiency and expertise.
