Specjalista/Specjalistka ds. mikrobiologii

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Microbiology Specialist to join our accredited laboratory in Katowice, Poland. As a global leader in analytical testing services, Eurofins provides comprehensive analyses in food, environmental, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic sectors. Our Katowice facility specializes in food and feed analysis, utilizing advanced technologies to ensure quality and safety.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing food, feed, and environmental samples for testing, performing microbiological inoculations, and preparing microbiological media. Accurate documentation during testing and data entry into the laboratory system are essential. Upon verification of skills, you may also conduct result readings.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in biology, biotechnology, or a related field, with at least one year of experience in a similar role. Practical knowledge of classical microbiological methods, proficiency in laboratory equipment operation and maintenance, and familiarity with Microsoft Office are required. Availability for shift work, including morning and afternoon shifts, is necessary. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential. Knowledge of English is advantageous.
