Sr. Analyst Workforce Strategy and Planning
As a Senior Analyst in Workforce Strategy and Planning at Wolt, you will be an integral part of the Workforce Planning & Intelligence team, which operates at the intersection of Talent Acquisition (TA), Finance, and cross-functional General & Administrative (G&A) leaders globally. This team is responsible for translating hiring demand into resourcing plans and operational decisions, ensuring alignment with company commitments. Wolt, a technology company that began with restaurant food delivery in 2014, has expanded to offer delivery of various goods across over 500 cities in 30 countries. In 2022, Wolt joined forces with DoorDash, continuing its rapid global expansion.
In this role, you will own core elements of global TA capacity planning, including forecasting supply and demand, diagnosing funnel performance, and translating long-range hiring plans into resourcing requirements up to 24 months out. Operating within a monthly planning rhythm, with two larger long-range planning cycles each year, you will partner closely with Director-level and above leaders across TA, Finance, and other G&A functions to ensure plans are fundable, executable, and aligned with company commitments. Your responsibilities will also involve building clean, auditable planning models and dashboards, primarily using Google Sheets and Sigma, and converting analysis into simple narratives and clear recommendations that drive decisions. Additionally, you will contribute to evolving TA resource planning by improving assumptions, operating rhythms, definitions, governance, and linking efficiency to quality outcomes such as retention and performance.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in analytics, planning, strategy, or an operations-focused role with ownership of recurring business-critical deliverables. Expertise in spreadsheet modeling (Google Sheets/Excel) is essential, with the ability to build structured, auditable, and scalable models efficiently. Proficiency in creating clear dashboards and analyses using modern BI tools like Sigma is required, along with the ability to define metrics that instill trust among leadership. Experience in utilizing AI tools to enhance analytical workflows, including exploration, summarization, automation, and insight generation, while applying strong judgment and validation, is highly valued. Strong communication skills are necessary to translate complex information into clear narratives and recommendations for Director and VP audiences. The role also demands the ability to influence without authority, earning trust quickly with senior leaders through effective communication, practical judgment, and reliable follow-through. Comfort with ambiguity, proactive problem-solving, and a focus on balancing efficiency and quality are key attributes. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, ideally in a quantitative or math-focused discipline, is preferred.
Wolt offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where employees are encouraged to learn, build, and ship more than in most other companies. Joining Wolt means becoming part of a team that is committed to creating technology that brings joy, simplicity, and earnings to neighborhoods worldwide.
