Sr Corporate Counsel, Public Sector
ID.me is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join its legal team, focusing on public sector engagements. The legal team plays a pivotal role in navigating the complex regulatory landscape associated with these partnerships.
In this role, the Senior Corporate Counsel will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with public sector clients, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. They will provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders, manage risk assessments, and support the development of policies and procedures related to public sector operations. Additionally, the counsel will stay abreast of legislative and regulatory changes affecting the public sector and advise the company accordingly.
Ideal candidates will possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and have substantial experience in public sector contracting and compliance. A strong understanding of federal and state procurement laws, as well as experience working with government agencies, is essential. Excellent negotiation skills, the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are also required.
