The Sr. Director of Product Engineering at SecurityScorecard will lead multiple squads within the Product Engineering organization, overseeing the development and enhancement of end-user experiences across the company's software platform. This role is pivotal in maintaining the current product suite, migrating products to the next-generation Titan platform, and steering the organization through an AI-first engineering transformation. SecurityScorecard, headquartered in New York City, is a global leader in cybersecurity ratings, continuously assessing over 12 million companies across 64 countries.

Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring a globally distributed team of 40–50 engineers, ensuring the health and performance of existing products, and driving the migration to the Titan platform. The Sr. Director will collaborate closely with Product Management and Design to develop new features, oversee data engineering modernization efforts, and champion the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices. Additionally, the role involves defining and tracking engineering metrics, fostering cross-functional collaboration, managing budgets, and engaging with customers to align engineering efforts with business objectives.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 10 years of software engineering experience, including 5 years in a leadership role managing large, distributed teams. Technical expertise in modern software development practices, proficiency with Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Scala, and Spark, and familiarity with distributed systems and large-scale data architectures are essential. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are also required.

SecurityScorecard offers a competitive salary, stock options, health benefits, unlimited PTO, parental leave, tuition reimbursements, and more. The estimated total compensation range for this position is $200,000–$275,000, with actual compensation based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience. Employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentives and equity.
