The Sr. Director of Product Engineering at SecurityScorecard will lead multiple squads within the Product Engineering organization, overseeing the development and enhancement of end-user experiences across the company's software platform. This role is pivotal in maintaining the current product suite, migrating products to the next-generation Titan platform, and steering the organization through an AI-first engineering transformation. The position is based in Manhattan, NY, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring a globally distributed team of 40–50 engineers, ensuring the health and performance of existing products, and driving the migration to the Titan platform. The role also involves partnering with Product and Design teams to develop new features, overseeing data engineering modernization efforts, and championing the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and managing the product engineering budget are also essential aspects of the role.

Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing large, distributed teams. A strong technical background with proficiency in modern software development practices and technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Scala, and Spark is required. Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and methodologies is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a track record of driving large-scale software projects from concept to delivery are essential.

SecurityScorecard offers a competitive salary, stock options, health benefits, unlimited PTO, parental leave, tuition reimbursements, and more. The estimated total compensation range for this position is $200,000–$275,000, including base salary and bonus. Actual compensation is based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience. Employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentive compensation awards and equity, among other company benefits.
