Sr Director Privacy & Data Protection Legal

Intuitive Surgical, a global leader in robotic-assisted surgery and minimally invasive care, is seeking a Senior Director of Privacy & Data Protection to oversee and ensure compliance with data privacy and protection laws worldwide, including those related to artificial intelligence. This role involves managing and directly handling various privacy and data protection legal matters, such as safeguarding personal data of customers, employees, and patients, licensing data assets, advising on data protection terms in contracts, and addressing digital data issues. The position requires daily interaction with engineers, researchers, human resources, IT, product security, marketing, and company executives, as well as managing both in-house and external legal teams to ensure the company's data assets, including personal data and its use with AI, are appropriately protected.
