Sr. Director, Segment Marketing and Events
The Senior Director, Field Marketing & Events at AlertMedia will play a pivotal role in the company's go-to-market strategy, focusing on engaging, converting, and expanding market segments. This leadership position involves managing a global team dedicated to high-impact outbound marketing and event initiatives, ensuring that marketing investments effectively translate into opportunities, pipeline growth, and bookings. The role requires a balance of strategic planning, leadership, and hands-on execution within a rapidly growing SaaS environment.
Key responsibilities include providing strategic leadership for outbound marketing and event programs across new business segments, such as outbound campaigns, gifting, associations, dinners, trade shows, virtual events, and roundtables to drive pipeline creation. The role also involves overseeing go-to-market strategy and execution in EMEA for comprehensive demand programs—including email, events, webinars, gifting, associations, and advocacy—to stimulate market interest. Additionally, the Senior Director will be accountable for opportunity and pipeline metrics across all new business segments, ensuring accurate attribution and consistent reporting to inform strategy, planning, and executive decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of relevant experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with at least 5 years focused on outbound programs and events, and a minimum of 5 years managing and developing high-performing teams. Demonstrated success in building and scaling outbound and events programs that contribute to revenue is essential. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly in building partnerships with Sales and Sales Development, are required. The candidate should be adept at distilling complex performance data into concise, executive-ready insights and recommendations, possess strong communication and storytelling abilities, and have experience leveraging AI to enhance output. Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Sendoso, Wrike, and FullCircle is preferred.
