Sr. Frontend Software Engineer

Firework is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a leader in AI-powered video commerce, Firework partners with over 1,500 global brands to revolutionize digital shopping experiences. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects that enhance user engagement and drive conversions.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing rich user interfaces and experiences across scalable and distributed sites. Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, you will create elegant, responsive, and scalable user experiences across multiple devices. Your work will involve integrating frontend components with backend systems, improving engineering standards, and providing technical leadership to key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 4 years of experience in frontend development. Advanced proficiency in building responsive and scalable web applications using React is essential. Experience with AJAX, XML, JSON, and best practice design patterns, as well as familiarity with UX principles and site performance optimization, are highly desirable. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are also important for success in this role.

Firework offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $140,000 to $250,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include paid time off, holidays, and health, dental, and vision insurance.
