The Sr. Key Account Executive - B2B at HotelDO, a division of Despegar, is responsible for managing and developing commercial accounts, focusing on increasing production, improving profitability, and promoting the adoption of technological solutions. This role involves providing support, developing, and maintaining strong business relationships with affiliated agencies.

Key responsibilities include administering a defined portfolio of agencies connected via API, continuously monitoring account performance metrics such as sales and conversion rates, and identifying basic growth opportunities in sales and product mix. The executive is expected to execute tactical plans defined by management to increase production, build and maintain solid relationships with key contacts in the agencies, conduct scheduled commercial visits and follow-up meetings, provide basic training on the use of platforms and tools, manage and escalate technical and commercial incidents to the appropriate area, coordinate with internal teams for case resolution, support clients with operational queries, and prepare regular performance reports for assigned accounts.

The ideal candidate holds a professional degree in Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields, with courses or certifications in B2B sales being desirable. A minimum of 2-3 years in commercial or B2B sales positions, along with at least 2 years of experience in the tourism sector, is required. Experience in managing commercial accounts and knowledge of the wholesale or retail tourism ecosystem are preferred. Technical skills should include basic to intermediate proficiency in Excel, experience with CRM and commercial platforms, familiarity with communication tools like Teams and Zoom, and basic knowledge of APIs and technological connectivity is desirable.
