Sr. Legal Operations Manager
Scopely is seeking a Senior Legal Operations Manager to join its Legal team on a hybrid basis from either the Culver City or San Francisco hub. This role involves owning the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform operations and system-level strategy, serving as the internal architect and subject-matter expert for Ironclad CLM, and building the infrastructure for a new knowledge management function that positions Legal for an AI-first future. Reporting to the Director of Legal Operations, this individual will act as a strategic partner to the commercial legal team and cross-functional business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include owning Ironclad CLM end-to-end, including workflow design, configuration, routing logic, metadata governance, template management, integrations, and repository integrity. The role also involves proactively monitoring the Ironclad product roadmap and release cycle, evaluating new features and enhancements for relevance to Scopely's contracting operations, and championing adoption where they solve real business problems. Additionally, the manager will analyze contracting data and user behavior patterns to identify root-cause inefficiencies, then design and implement structural workflow improvements that reduce recurring friction and minimize unnecessary Legal involvement.
The ideal candidate will have deep Ironclad expertise, strong analytical reasoning, and the ability to build knowledge management infrastructure from the ground up. They should be capable of executing on the team's AI strategy at a fast-paced, global gaming company. This is a senior individual-contributor role designed for someone who takes full ownership of complex systems and processes with minimal direction. The right candidate does not wait for problems to surface but anticipates friction, identifies patterns in data and user behavior, and implements structural solutions that scale across a global organization.
