Sr Manager, Production & Localisation QA
The Senior Manager, Production & Localisation QA at PlayStation Studios' International Production & Localisation (IPL) team leads global Production and Localisation QA teams to deliver high-quality localisation, production, and LQA solutions for a global audience. Reporting to the Senior Director, International Production & Localisation, this role focuses on driving innovation, increasing operational efficiency, and developing core expertise in localisation production, localisation QA, and international publishing.
Key responsibilities include leading IPL's global Production and Localisation QA teams to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of high-quality work, building strong partnerships with PlayStation Studios and game creators, overseeing multiple projects to refine production processes and LQA methodologies, defining excellence for localisation production and LQA services by establishing best practices and driving innovation, cultivating a high-performing, collaborative team culture, navigating organisational change to align services with business goals, contributing to key planning processes including budgets and operating plans, working across PlayStation Studios and SIE to coordinate R&D efforts, fostering cross-functional knowledge sharing, and developing the team's cultural pillars and departmental initiatives.
The ideal candidate possesses over 10 years of experience in games production or development roles with a successful track record delivering AAA titles, strong knowledge of both localisation production and QA with an understanding of current industry trends and emerging technologies, deep understanding of the game development lifecycle, experience integrating new teams or functions into existing organisations and leading through organisational change, proven success in leading diverse, high-performing teams across cultures and time zones, excellent communication skills, strong project management skills, curiosity and aptitude for evaluating and adopting new technologies, comfort navigating ambiguity in fast-paced environments, passion for games with extensive knowledge of the gaming market, and experience managing external development projects and/or working on live service titles is advantageous.
