Sr. Software Engineer II, Trading Services
NinjaTrader is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join their Trading Services team, focusing on the development and maintenance of backend systems that support trading operations. This role involves designing and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions to enhance the trading experience for NinjaTrader's users. The position offers flexibility with options for both Chicago-based and remote work.
In this role, the engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services that power NinjaTrader's trading platform. Key tasks include designing and implementing RESTful and WebSocket APIs for partner integrations, deploying and managing backend services in a Kubernetes environment, and ensuring system scalability, reliability, and low-latency performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet business goals.
Candidates should have a strong background in software development, with experience in designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining real-time applications. Proficiency in backend development languages such as Scala or C++ is required, along with experience working with Kubernetes and cloud services like Google Cloud Platform. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
The compensation package includes a salary range of $140,000 to $190,000 USD, with an annual target bonus of 10%.
