Staff Attorney for Family Law - Colorado Springs

Colorado Legal Services (CLS) is seeking a Staff Attorney to join their Family Law team in Colorado Springs. CLS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free legal assistance to low-income individuals and families across Colorado. The Family Law team focuses on cases involving domestic relations, child custody, and other family-related legal matters.

As a Staff Attorney, you will represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and child support matters. Your responsibilities will include conducting client interviews, drafting legal documents, representing clients in court hearings, and providing legal advice. You will also collaborate with other team members to develop case strategies and ensure comprehensive client support.

Ideal candidates should have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in Colorado. Experience in family law is preferred, but not required. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
