Staff Data Analyst (Hybrid)
As a Staff Data Analyst at Weedmaps, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's data-driven decision-making processes. This position involves collaborating with senior leadership across various departments to develop data strategies that inform multi-million dollar decisions. In this role, you will proactively identify opportunities, challenge assumptions with data, and publish insights to the broader cannabis industry. Key responsibilities include creating high-quality, scalable analytic and data products, leading the migration from Tableau to a new BI solution, and designing executive dashboards that monitor business performance. Additionally, you will mentor junior colleagues and build reusable tools to enhance the team's analytical capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have over eight years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, or business intelligence, with a proven track record of influencing executive decision-making through data storytelling. Strong proficiency in SQL is essential, along with experience in building and maintaining production-level dashboards in BI tools like Looker and Sigma. Familiarity with dbt cloud and hands-on experience using AI to drive greater impact are also required.
The base pay range for this position is $142,238.00 to $150,000.00 per year.
