Arcadia is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer (L4) to join our SRE/Platform Engineering team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This senior technical leadership role focuses on engineering execution, mentorship, and architectural ownership, without direct people management responsibilities. As a key member of our growing India SRE team, you will independently manage multi-week projects, make architectural decisions under ambiguity, and provide guidance to elevate the team's capabilities.

In this role, you will own and deliver SRE projects end-to-end, from scoping and design through implementation, testing, rollout, and documentation. You will serve as a technical anchor, conducting design reviews, assisting with complex debugging, and mentoring engineers to develop independent problem-solving skills. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing infrastructure solutions across AWS services using Terraform and CloudFormation, leading Kubernetes operations, evolving CI/CD pipelines, enhancing observability stacks, executing FinOps initiatives, managing database reliability, strengthening security posture, and troubleshooting complex production issues.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in site reliability engineering, with a strong background in AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes operations, and CI/CD pipeline development. Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, and scripting languages is essential. You should possess excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to make sound architectural decisions under ambiguity, and a passion for mentoring and elevating team capabilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across time zones are also important.
