Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack
Affinidi is seeking a solution-oriented and experienced Staff Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join our Affinidi Elements team. In this role, you will collaborate with global peers across product, design, infrastructure, architecture, and engineering teams to enhance and develop a multi-component platform. Your expertise in designing, architecting, and building quality systems will be pivotal in driving the continued advancement of our products.
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will develop features and improvements to the Affinidi Elements product using TypeScript and React, ensuring they are secure, well-tested, and performant. You will analyze complex data to derive actionable recommendations and collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced, iterative environment. Advocating for product quality, security, and performance enhancements will be a key aspect of your day-to-day responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React, along with expertise in cloud computing (preferably AWS) and cloud-native environments. A strong understanding of design patterns, microservices development and deployment, and technical documentation skills, including the C4 Model and Architectural Decision Records, are essential. Hands-on experience with REST APIs and the application of Test-Driven Development principles are also required.
