Staff Software Engineer, Investment Performance and Analytics

Ridgeline is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join its Performance & Analytics team, focusing on developing a next-generation platform for calculating and presenting investment performance metrics. This role involves working within a collaborative environment to build scalable, cloud-native solutions that set new industry standards.

The engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing systems that handle complex asset classes, including derivatives, fixed income, and private equity. Key tasks include optimizing time-weighted returns (TWR), internal rate of return (IRR), and performance attribution calculations, as well as developing automation to ensure high-quality, scalable applications.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in architecting performance reporting and analytics systems. Proficiency in performance measurement for various investment types, familiarity with performance concepts like TWR and Brinson Attribution, and experience with cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are essential.
