Stagiaire - Corporate/Finance/Real Estate

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, a leading international law firm, is offering an internship opportunity in its Milan office within the Global Transactions department, encompassing the Corporate, Finance, and Real Estate groups. This role is designed for law students seeking practical experience in a dynamic, multinational legal environment.

As an intern, you will be mentored by senior professionals, engaging in research and analysis to support ongoing transactions. Your responsibilities will include drafting memoranda, notes, and presentations—often in English—assisting in the preparation of transaction documentation, and providing translation support. This hands-on experience aims to deepen your technical legal knowledge and familiarize you with the operations of an international law firm.

Ideal candidates are law students from their fourth year onward, with an excellent academic record (a minimum average of 28/30). Proficiency in both written and spoken English at a C1 level is required. Applicants should demonstrate a strong aptitude for working in an international setting, possess excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills, and exhibit precision, reliability, and discretion. Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential.

The internship offers a monthly stipend to cover expenses. Candidates are invited to indicate their preference for the specific practice group—Corporate, Finance, or Real Estate—during the application process. The start date will be coordinated with selected candidates based on their academic commitments and the firm's requirements.
