BJAK was founded on a simple belief: people deserve smarter ways to plan, save and grow their money. That is where our name comes from.

We started in 2019 by building the region's first mobile-first insurance platform, making insurance accessible online to millions. Today we are Southeast Asia's leading insurance platform, and we are expanding into everything else people do with their money — spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling.

Our teams span more than 20 nationalities across our offices and remotely. The role

You will be BJAK's person on the ground, responsible for getting the business established and growing. That means building partner relationships from scratch, working out how the market operates, and shaping the strategy that sits behind both.

This is a broad role in a new market. Some weeks will be partnership negotiation, others will be regulatory groundwork, operational setup, or working out why something is not converting. We are looking for someone comfortable moving between all of it rather than a specialist in any one part.

What you will do

Partnerships

- Identify, approach and close partnerships with financial institutions and ecosystem players

- Own each relationship end to end, from first conversation through negotiation, onboarding, integration and go-live

- Lead commercial negotiations, with sound judgement on pricing and partnership economics

- Keep a visible pipeline, with disciplined follow-up and clear reporting

- Work with legal, product, technology and compliance to get agreements live quickly
