N26 Bank is seeking a Steering & Planning Associate for its Customer Risk Lifecycle (CRL) domain in Berlin. This role focuses on preventing financial crime, including fraud, scams, and digital identity attacks, while safeguarding the bank against money laundering and money mules. The Steering & Planning Associate will be responsible for defining and refining the Anti-Financial Crime Strategy, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the Customer Risk Lifecycle. Key duties include analyzing workflows and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies, streamlining processes, implementing automation, and supporting scalable business growth. The role also involves monitoring KPIs and SLAs, managing vendor relationships, developing business cases for new opportunities, and leading cross-functional initiatives to drive execution on complex, high-impact topics.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in fast-paced environments such as fintech, banking, consulting, startups, or corporate strategy roles, ideally within regulated industries or financial services. A bachelor's degree in STEM, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or a related field from a top-tier university is required. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL and Excel, and experience with project management, particularly in cross-functional teams, are essential. Fluency in English is mandatory.
