Structural Bridge Project Manager
Benesch is seeking a Structural Bridge Project Manager to lead bridge and transportation design projects within our Kansas/Missouri Division. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the strategic growth of our practice. The position is open to candidates located anywhere within Kansas or Missouri, with options for hybrid or fully remote work arrangements.
The Project Manager will oversee bridge and transportation design projects, developing project scopes, schedules, and budget estimates. Responsibilities include managing project teams, ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules, mentoring junior staff, and fostering relationships with key clients such as KDOT and MoDOT. The role also involves representing Benesch at industry events and leading strategic project pursuits.
Candidates must possess a BS in Civil Engineering or a related discipline and be a registered engineer in Kansas and/or Missouri. A minimum of 7 years of bridge design experience, including project management responsibilities, is preferred. Experience with KDOT or MoDOT bridge projects is advantageous. Strong communication skills, proficiency with steel and concrete design software, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent activities are essential.
