Supply Chain Planner(WM)
The Supply Chain Planner (WM) at Wolt is a pivotal role within the Wolt Market division, focusing on our proprietary grocery stores that offer unparalleled convenience and exceptional customer experience. Operating in over 500 cities across 30 countries, Wolt has rapidly expanded since its inception in 2014, now delivering a wide array of products beyond restaurant food. This position is based in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel, and is integral to optimizing our supply chain operations to support our ambitious growth objectives.
In this role, the Supply Chain Planner is responsible for driving operational process improvements across our supplier base to maximize product availability, enhance selection, and minimize waste. Key responsibilities include identifying and implementing improvements in supplier lead times, purchase order confirmations and fulfillment, efficient receiving processes, inventory placement, and cost reduction initiatives. The planner will also focus on vendor operational performance and strategy, directly impacting the profit and loss statement, and will produce and analyze weekly metrics related to operational vendor management. Additionally, the role involves influencing a diverse range of internal stakeholders through effective communication and interpersonal skills to support priorities and deliver results.
The ideal candidate should possess over four years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong background in demand planning and forecasting. Experience with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and strategic demand forecasting is essential. Extensive experience in retail, particularly in the grocery sector, and e-commerce is highly advantageous. The candidate must be highly organized, self-starting, and analytical, thriving in a high-energy environment. Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with effective prioritization and planning, and excellent business judgment are required. Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Hebrew are also necessary.
