Systems Administrator (MacOS & Jamf focus)
Gearset is seeking a Systems Administrator with a focus on macOS and Jamf to join our growing IT team in Cambridge, United Kingdom. As a Systems Administrator, you will take ownership of our Mobile Device Management (MDM) and local network, aiming to elevate our existing practices. Your responsibilities will include managing over 350 endpoints using Jamf (98%) and Intune (2%), resolving Wi-Fi and network issues, and acting as the primary escalation point for complex support tickets. Additionally, you will lead maintenance programs and audits to enhance system resilience and support company-wide projects with strong technical expertise.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Apple and macOS environments, along with expertise in Google Workspace and the ability to optimize Jamf for MDM. A strong background in network administration and diagnostics, including hands-on troubleshooting with tools like Aruba Central and FortiManager, is essential. Excellent communication skills, both remote and in-person, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are also key qualifications.
We offer a competitive salary of up to £60,000, depending on experience, along with a generous personal development budget of up to £1,500 per year.
