Helsing is a defense AI company dedicated to protecting democracies through technological leadership, enabling open societies to make sovereign decisions and uphold ethical standards. You will collaborate with industry partners, procurement agencies, and land forces to develop complex systems addressing the challenges of modern battlefields.

In this role, your key responsibilities include developing system architectures aligned with software and defense system requirements, supervising system integration, and acting as a subject matter expert on critical defense system aspects such as Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS). A strong understanding of system architecture, requirements, and integration of defense systems is essential. A university degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Candidates should possess personal values that align with Helsing's, such as ownership, initiative, dedication to mission, speed, and inclusiveness. High performers who thrive in fast-paced environments, are collaborative, humble, and problem-solvers are encouraged to apply. Additionally, candidates must be prepared to meet all necessary measures and requirements to obtain security clearance according to respective national laws.

Helsing offers a focus on outcomes rather than time-tracking, competitive compensation and stock options, relocation support, social and education allowances, and regular company events to foster a cohesive team across Europe. The company emphasizes the importance of its work in protecting democratic countries while balancing ethical and geopolitical concerns. Employees will face unique engineering and AI challenges that make a meaningful impact in the world, working at the forefront of technical innovation in the defense industry. Helsing encourages healthy, proactive, and diverse debate internally, trusting teams and individual engineers to practice responsible autonomy and critical thinking, focusing on outcomes rather than conformity.
