Tax Analyst (Corporate Tax)
Hotmart, a global technology company specializing in digital business solutions, is seeking a Tax Analyst to join its Corporate Tax team in São Paulo, Brazil. This role offers an opportunity to develop technical expertise in a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with departments such as Accounting, Finance, and Controllership.
The Tax Analyst will be responsible for preparing income tax calculations for the company's entities across various countries, including Brazil. Key duties include supporting and reviewing the delivery of the ECF (Escrituração Contábil Fiscal) and similar obligations in other countries, generating tax guides, processing payments, and reporting to the Treasury team. Additional responsibilities encompass assisting in the preparation of tax notes for financial statements, updating tax contingencies, performing reconciliations of tax accounts, managing tax benefits related to income tax, and controlling tax credits. The role also involves supporting daily technical demands and projects from other teams interfacing with Direct Taxes, attending internal and external audits, and contributing to process improvements and internal controls within the tax department.
Candidates should have prior experience in tax routines related to Direct Taxes in multinational companies, advanced knowledge of Excel, and a solid understanding of Brazilian tax legislation concerning income taxes. Basic knowledge of international income tax is also required. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential. Preferred qualifications include experience in auditing firms (Big 4), familiarity with SAP Business One, Oracle EPM, and SAP S/4HANA, and experience in technology companies, digital platforms, marketplaces, or payment methods. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Administration, Economics, or related fields is mandatory.
