Tax Intern | Tax & Legal

Deloitte Namibia's Tax & Legal Team is seeking a Tax Intern to join their dynamic environment. This role offers an opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a practical setting, working alongside experienced professionals to deliver proactive tax solutions.

As a Tax Intern, you will assist in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and businesses, conduct research on Namibian tax laws and regulations, and support the team in compiling documentation for tax compliance and advisory projects. Additionally, you will participate in client meetings, draft correspondence and reports, analyze financial data to identify tax implications, and collaborate with colleagues across departments to deliver integrated solutions.

The ideal candidate is a Namibian citizen or permanent resident currently in their final year or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field, with an average academic score of 65% per academic year. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, high attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment is also important.
