Team Coordinator, Courier Operations
Wolt is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Team Coordinator to support and manage employed Delivery Couriers in Helsinki, Finland. This role is pivotal in implementing Wolt's new courier employment model, aiming to enhance delivery operations and ensure high standards of efficiency and engagement. The Team Coordinator will play a crucial role in building the foundation for this innovative setup.
Key responsibilities include leading, coaching, and supporting a team of couriers, overseeing their onboarding process, and fostering performance development within the team. The coordinator will build a strong team culture rooted in accountability and shared success, implement team rituals such as standups and retrospectives, and drive continuous process improvements. Additionally, the role involves monitoring the performance of platform employees to ensure they meet defined KPIs and handling occasional on-call duties for critical situations, with rotational on-call duties planned in advance and supported by clear guidelines and fair compensation.
The ideal candidate possesses an operational mindset and thinks in systems, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Google Sheets is required, along with fluency in English; Finnish language skills are considered a plus. Experience in training and people management, strong documentation skills, and the ability to balance operational expectations with fairness and empathy are essential. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and must be eligible to work in Finland as an employee.
