Technical Operations Engineer, Space Systems
Anduril Industries is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Technical Operations Engineer to join our Space Systems team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in general contracting or building engineering, particularly those experienced in building infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for the hardware components of our Space Systems, working directly with customers both in the field and remotely to ensure seamless integration and operation within government facilities.
Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive support for our Space Systems hardware, encompassing setup, configuration, and pre-configuration to ensure smooth integration with customer infrastructure. The role involves real-time troubleshooting of hardware issues, applying analytical thinking and hands-on problem-solving skills. Additional duties include configuring and troubleshooting networking environments, installing and racking servers and related equipment, running and terminating Ethernet and fiber optic cabling, coordinating the installation of electrical power systems, and ensuring all installations comply with local, state, and federal building and electrical codes.
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of both low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems, excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with customers and team members. A willingness and ability to travel up to 75% is required. Proficiency in assembling, repairing, and maintaining technical hardware, a strong understanding of building codes and regulations, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings are essential. Strong project management skills, proven experience in server installation and cable routing, and excellent communication skills for working with subcontractors and internal stakeholders are also required. Preferred qualifications include experience with Linux system administration, configuring and troubleshooting networking environments, a degree in Engineering or Computer Science, and a military background with an active security clearance.
The salary range for this position is $113,000 to $149,000 annually.
