ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Technical Recruiter who thrives in early-stage ambiguity and is excited to help shape how Braintrust grows. We are a product and engineering company first, and the people we hire internally set the bar for everything we do.
In this role, you will be a core partner to engineering and leadership, with real ownership over how we find, evaluate, and close exceptional technical talent. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building systems while staying close to the work. If you are energized by strong technical teams, thoughtful process, and the chance to meaningfully influence a company’s trajectory, this role is for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles, from sourcing through offer acceptance, with a strong focus on quality and candidate experience.
- Partner closely with engineering leaders to define roles, calibrate talent, and make great hiring decisions.
- Clearly and authentically communicate what Braintrust is building, why it matters, and why now, serving as a trusted guide for candidates throughout the process.
- Identify and execute opportunities to improve our recruiting strategy, interview process, employer brand, and candidate experience as we scale.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of top-tier technical talent, including passive candidates across multiple disciplines.
- Track recruiting metrics thoughtfully and use data to understand what is working, what is not, and where we should experiment.
