Technical Support Analyst - (L2/L3 - Linux & SQL)
Comtronic Systems, a portfolio company of Banyan Software, is seeking a Technical Support Analyst to join their team in Cle Elum, WA. This role focuses on supporting, troubleshooting, and enhancing the CallThru platform, a telephony and database-driven system integral to client operations. The position offers an opportunity to work within a high-availability, production-critical environment, ensuring the reliability and performance of mission-critical systems.
The Technical Support Analyst will manage incoming support requests, provide timely resolutions, and communicate effectively with clients throughout the investigation process. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving complex issues across telephony, databases, and infrastructure layers, supporting CallThru platform operations such as SIP configurations and call quality analysis, and working with Linux servers to install, configure, and troubleshoot systems. Additionally, the role involves analyzing system performance using tools like sngrep and Wireshark, supporting database integrations, collaborating with product and engineering teams, maintaining documentation, and serving as a technical subject matter expert.
Candidates should have 3 to 5+ years of experience in technical support, systems administration, or related roles supporting production environments. Essential qualifications include strong troubleshooting skills across application, database, infrastructure, and networking layers; hands-on experience with Linux systems and command-line tools; solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and SSH; and working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write and troubleshoot queries. Experience or exposure to VoIP, SIP, telephony systems, or Asterisk is highly desirable. Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities independently, and a curiosity to learn complex systems are also important.
The position offers a base salary range of $65,000 to $70,000, along with benefits and other perks. This is an on-site role based in Cle Elum, WA, providing an opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team in a collaborative environment.
