Técnico Mecatrónico - Robotics
Helsing is seeking a Técnico Mecatrónico to join our robotics team in Barcelona. We are an ambitious team of engineers, AI specialists, and program managers committed to solving complex and impactful problems.
In this role, you will autonomously assemble electromechanical robots and subsystems, including electronic and mechanical validation setups. Responsibilities encompass creating wiring harnesses, modifying electronic boards, performing initial robot validation using automated tools, diagnosing and repairing faults, and proposing improvements to assembly and validation processes. Additionally, you will manage stock and inventory, ensuring quality control upon receipt of orders.
The ideal candidate has experience working with complex electromechanical systems in a laboratory setting or equivalent experience. A vocational training in mechatronics, electronics, or a similar technical discipline is required. Fluency in Spanish, a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, basic electronics knowledge, and proficiency with lab equipment such as soldering tools are essential. Familiarity with mechanical components and their assembly, basic computer skills including Excel, and experience with stock management tools (ERP) are also necessary. Holding an EU work visa is mandatory.
We offer a competitive salary and stock options (ESOP). Relocation support includes up to €2,500 and four weeks of temporary accommodation. Additional benefits encompass an annual learning allowance of €500/£450, gym membership, mental health support through Nilo.health, regular company events, and monthly social allowances. Enhanced parental leave provides 22 weeks fully paid for primary caregivers and six weeks for secondary caregivers. Family support includes five days of paid emergency leave, a 100% remote work option during pregnancy, and a phased return to work.
