Transportation Engineering Leader

Benesch is seeking a Project Manager or Engineering Technical Lead to enhance our Transportation Design and Construction Engineering presence in South Dakota and surrounding areas. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex assignments and contribute to the growth of our services in the region. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in marketing and delivering projects, developing staff, and fostering industry relationships at both state and local levels.

Key responsibilities include leading the development and delivery of projects with local, state, and regional significance. The role involves active participation in business development activities such as networking, proposal preparation, and contract management. Additionally, the candidate will coordinate staff activities to ensure project goals related to budget, schedule, and quality are met, while supporting various local, regional, and corporate initiatives.

The position requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related field, along with a Professional Engineering License or the ability to obtain one in South Dakota. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and demonstrate strong client relationship abilities. Experience in interacting with clients, agencies, and other project stakeholders is essential.
