Transportation Litigation Associate Attorney

In this position, the attorney will manage a litigation caseload under the guidance of senior attorneys, handling cases from inception to resolution. Responsibilities include conducting legal research on transportation laws and regulations, drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents, and attending court hearings, depositions, and mediations. The attorney will also negotiate settlements, collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices, and provide case analysis reports to client stakeholders.
Candidates should possess a Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and be admitted to practice in Florida. A minimum of 3-5 years of general casualty litigation experience is required, with a preference for experience in transportation and logistics, trucking, and related regulatory matters. Familiarity with emerging e-commerce and gig economy legal issues is advantageous. The role demands strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills, as well as proficiency in technical aspects of litigation.
