Transportation Litigation Senior Attorney

Wilson Elser is seeking a proactive and highly skilled Transportation Litigation Senior Attorney to join our Houston office. This role involves representing a large international logistics services provider, offering the opportunity to work on challenging cases and litigate emerging legal issues within the transportation sector. The position provides a flexible, hybrid working arrangement and the chance to collaborate with talented colleagues nationwide.

Key responsibilities include managing a litigation caseload from inception to resolution, conducting legal research and analysis related to transportation laws and regulations, drafting pleadings and legal documents, attending court hearings and mediations, negotiating settlements, and collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments. Additionally, the role involves drafting case analysis reports to develop proactive resolution strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, be admitted to practice in Texas, and have at least 8 years of general casualty litigation experience. First and/or second chair trial experience is strongly desired, along with experience in transportation and logistics, trucking, and related regulatory matters. Superior analytical skills, strong written and oral communication abilities, and sophisticated technical skills are essential.
