As a UK Content Strategist at Canva, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing content strategies tailored to the UK market. This position is integral to Canva's mission of making design accessible to everyone, ensuring that content serves as a growth engine by enhancing user engagement, retention, and revenue. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including SEO, Localisation, Creators, Product, and Marketing, to deliver high-impact content that resonates with the UK audience.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing the country's content strategy, overseeing content health and production to drive relevance and business impact. You will ensure that all content meets Canva's quality standards and aligns culturally with the UK market. Gathering insights from sales, partners, and local peers will be essential to refine content strategies continually. Additionally, you will manage content performance across discovery and editorial platforms, ensuring optimal engagement and retention. Leading the UK's editorial strategy, identifying and activating cultural moments in partnership with Marketing, Social, and PR teams, will also be a key aspect of your day-to-day work.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in content strategy, regional business strategy and operations, partnerships, or similar roles within high-growth content, media, or marketplace global technology companies. A deep understanding of content trends and aesthetics in the UK, with a keen sense of what resonates with local users, is essential. You should possess a proactive, solutions-driven approach, capable of balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution. Exceptional stakeholder management skills are required to align cross-functional teams across regions. Experience in dynamic environments, comfort with ambiguity, strong analytical skills to assess content performance, and a track record of successfully managing production workflows and partnerships are also important.

Canva offers a range of benefits to support your success inside and outside work, including equity packages, an inclusive parental leave policy, an annual Vibe & Thrive allowance to support wellbeing and social connection, and flexible leave options that let you recharge or take time to give back.

Joining Canva means becoming part of a collaborative and innovative culture that values creativity and inclusivity. With opportunities for professional development and growth, you will work alongside a team of brilliant and kind individuals, contributing to a platform that empowers millions worldwide to design.
