Variable Compensation Director
The Variable Compensation Director at Wellhub will oversee all aspects of global sales compensation, including the design, implementation, and management of variable pay programs and incentive plans. This strategic leadership role ensures that compensation strategies are market-competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. The position is based in São Paulo, Brazil, within a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities include leading and developing the Variable Compensation team, designing and managing global variable pay programs, and developing annual compensation strategies. The role also involves ensuring compliance with global budgetary guidelines, partnering with Finance and Sales Operations to manage budgets, and analyzing compensation data to provide regular reporting to leadership. Additionally, the director will oversee payment calculations and onboarding processes, acting as the key point of contact for complex compensation issues.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Business Administration, Economics, HR, or a related field. Previous experience in Compensation or HR roles, ideally with exposure to Sales Operations, is required. Proven experience in managing complex variable compensation plans and incentive strategies, along with expertise in compensation best practices and knowledge of budget planning and compliance regulations, is essential. Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, strong analytical skills, project management abilities, and fluent English are mandatory. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
