Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Act as the DRI for procurement and vendor management, overseeing the full lifecycle from vendor onboarding through renewal and offboarding.

- Partner with Legal, Finance, Partnerships, and Operations to develop scalable systems for vendor sourcing, contract review, compliance, and spend.

- Create and implement procurement templates and tools that make it easy for teams to move fast while maintaining accountability.

- Lead contract negotiations to drive favorable terms, manage spend, and minimize risk across all categories.

- Track and analyze company-wide vendor spend, providing actionable insights to leadership on efficiency, performance, and ROI.
