VP, Medical Affairs

The Vice President of Medical Affairs at Legend Biotech will lead the development and execution of integrated medical strategies for the company's approved BCMA CAR-T therapy for multiple myeloma and its pipeline programs. This role involves close collaboration with partners such as Johnson & Johnson and internal teams including Commercial, Clinical Development, Translational Development, Safety, Regulatory, Healthcare Compliance, and Legal.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing medical affairs strategies, overseeing a team of over 16 Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) and MSL management, and leading functions such as Medical Strategy, Thought Leader Engagement, Publications and Data Generation, and Medical Information. The VP will also manage strategic and tactical plans, launch plans for new products or indications, publication plans, sponsorships, CME activities, congress planning, and departmental budget oversight.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in medical affairs within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, particularly in oncology or hematology. Strong leadership skills, the ability to build effective working relationships, and experience in developing and executing medical strategies are essential. Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with strategic partners is also required.
