Web Engineer
As a Web Engineer at Peregrine Technologies, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's website, including development, performance optimization, SEO, and analytics. This role is integral to the marketing team, collaborating closely with marketing, communications, and design teams to enhance Peregrine's web presence. You will create engaging, interactive experiences and develop scalable, high-performance full-stack solutions that align with the company's mission to support public safety organizations and other institutions with AI-enabled platforms.
Key responsibilities include delivering exceptional web experiences that prioritize usability and performance, writing clean and maintainable code, and implementing tools that enhance creativity and efficiency. You will design web personalization and analytics systems to drive engagement and conversions, ensure fast load times, apply SEO best practices, and maintain high performance across various browsers and devices. Additionally, you will conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve bugs, ensuring a seamless user experience, and stay updated with industry trends to enhance website capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in web development, specializing in building dynamic and responsive websites. Proficiency with front-end technologies such as Framer, Rive, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React is essential, along with experience in marketing automation tools like HubSpot. A strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first development practices, collaborative workflows, version control systems like Git, and experience with tracking technologies and content management systems are also required. Attention to detail, knowledge of accessibility standards, and the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams are crucial. The position is based in San Francisco, with an expectation to work in the office four times per week.
The salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $192,000 annually, complemented by benefits, equity options (if applicable), and potential bonuses.
